"A government big enough to give you everything you want is also strong enough to take everything you have." We forget this simple truth at our peril.

The Economics of Smoking:
"Why does the state try and persuade individuals to quit smoking, but not skiing?"

Self Extinguishing Cigarettes:
SB 2070 can be found at Click on Legislation and then use the bill # for a search and it'll give you all the information. Most interesting is the Senate Bill Analysis of SB 2070. We're outnumbered by the Democrats but we can sure try to put some pressure on them.
This bill requires the State Fire Marshal to adopt fire safety standards for cigarettes and prohibits the sale of cigarettes which do not meet these criteria.

The Pharmaceutical Industry -- To Whom Is It Accountable?:
The case for the pharmaceutical industry sounds reasonable, but is it valid?

Cigarette Ads In Canada:
"....To move from words intended to persuade to images intended to terrorize is to cross a prohibited line. A decent government doesn't wage psychological warfare on its people."
Tobacco firms will ask court to cancel label rules.

Tobacco Lawsuit Snuffed Out:
New York judge rules U.S. courts cannot enforce Canadian tax policy.

... But No Fires:
San Jose banned wood-burning fireplaces this week.

FORCES International:
FORCES has been providing the information that has been missing from the coverage by the traditional media.

We Are Everyday People:

A Letter Regarding Disney Cruise Line

Priority Number One: Educating Americans:
Informing the American public to the growing reality of the New World Order (One World Government, Global Union, etc.), and the forces behind the gradual decay of our personal freedoms and liberties.

From The Mailbag:
