"I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, 'I'm going to mop the floor with your face.' I said, 'You'll be sorry.' He said, 'Oh, yeah? Why?' I said, 'Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well.'"
Emo Philips

"It's been my observation that 90% of statisticians pretty much ruin it for the other 30%."
Keith Sullivan

The Century Of Science Scares:
In July, 1998, a U. S. Federal Court decision nullified the EPA findings that had set off the scare, finding that the EPA acted illegally and misrepresented claims that passive smoke causes lung cancer.

Why Caring Liberals Can't Shoot Straight:
90% of all statistics containing the word "children" are complete bunk. That's right: nine out of 10 child statistics have no rational scientific basis.

Smokers Guide To California:
Smoking and California is a contradiction in terms. It's like equating Adolph Hitler with human rights.
24 Tips:
Communicating with anti-smokers.

Mr.cigar.com:
Interviews.

Do-gooders Should Butt Out:
You only have to look at what happened recently in British Columbia to realize the stupidity of ultra-tough smoking laws.

Native Americans News:
American Indian Resources Index:

NAPE: Peoples Web Directory:

Nations and Tribes:

The Seneca Nation of Indians:

I Am A Smoker:
I smoke because it's pure inspiration packed into three inches of paper. Because it's the pause that refreshes. Because it's a complicated pleasure and I like them that way.

We Are Everyday People:

Student May Face Criminal Charge For Wearing Smelly Hair Gel:

Snorting Kool-Aid: ...suspending students for abusing Kool-Aid seems to be a classic case of zero tolerance nonsense.

Scents and sensibility: 84-year-old Halifax woman was thrown out of city hall because she wore perfume to a council meeting.

For Patriots Only: Cartoon of Clinton

From The Mailbag:

R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings Inc., the number two US tobacco company, said it was scheduled to start test-marketing a cigarette in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. Eclipse, releases fewer carcinogens and second-hand smoke. Instead of burning tobacco like traditional cigarettes, Eclipse merely heats it.
